Right, I just called TRDSparks...trying to get some info from them possibly on the A/T one. We can do that, but when would you have time?

 

Well, obviously not this weekend with the turbo install and show. And my wife said next weekend is all hers cause all the time I've been spending on my car! so maybe the following weekend? I was planning on getting my tune that weekend during the day, and that night you can come over adn we can do that while I'm doing my rear mount. You can help me as long as you keep all your fingers intact!!!

 

Cool, called TRDSpark, no luck, they'd have to see them side by side to tell the difference but he said usually if the price more then its a big enough difference to justify it. Doesn't sound good, I called Desert Scion, no luck there either since its an 07, they'd have to order the part to get it in stock...and they won't do that.

 

right, but was that for just one part, or for a group of parts? It may be one of the other parts are different?
I'm sure they can't help, either way, but I'm just trying to keep our hopes up! Like I said, all that matters is that the front mount is the same and the rear bushing is the same size.

 

Wow...we threadjacked this... My apologies to the OP, Meaty we can discuss this via PM The parts they looked for where the rear mounts. I'm assuming that its everything, bracket, bushing, and etc. since I said "rear motor mount" But for 5 buck difference I'm willing to be the bracket is the same but the bushing is different and thats why the price is more.

Anywya, I just noticed yoru links were for part 7, and we are replacing part 8. But those prices were different as well, so no luck.

I don't I'm off today, I have to work tomorrow morning. I went to bed at 1am, got up at 5:30, washed my car, came back, took a cat nap from 9ish to 11ish I think, got, now I have to go to bed at 8pm to get at 5am to go to work, get off at 11:30am and get the car ready for the VIP event tomorrow evening. So I get up at 5:30am and have to stay up til 2am Sunday morning since i will be going back to work in the afternoon. Don't you ever stop testing your office's bandwidth? Their probably going to make u pay their internet bill before too long.

Oh, I know those two were linked to part 7, I only did that b/c part 7 gave me the choice of a m/t pic or a a/t pic so I just link them. But we aren't replacing 8, we are replacing the bushing in 8, which seems like would be the difference unless their outline sucks and both 8's dont look the same like they do in the line drawings.

 

Well, it's not like you have to stay up late tonight to rip off your oil pan and your header back and clean the interior because you won't have time tomorrow because you will be wakeing up at 6 with 3 kids, and then at 8 start installing a turbo kit which might be done early enought to get some gauges put in, possibly a tune, which means you wont even get a shower, or lunch, before going to VIP until midnight, and then having to drive all the way across town to get home to a wife who is ____ed cause you didn't help with the kids all day!
But now you really ARE getting off topic!

 

Just get the thing out of the passenger seat and its all good man ...but please shower before you go to VIP, we don't need you to scare away all the AZ and Cali peeps.

I got this a few weeks ago. I just installed the front one. It was cake. The rear one, i'll have my friend install.

I've heard good reviews about this product, so far from the people that have it installed.

 

I totally forgot taht I have not installed my rear yet!

Hey speed source, i have a question. I bought a set of mounts off you a while back and installed them. Well i am now getting rid of the car and took out the front mount and sold it to a good friend of mine. He is interested in getting the rear mount also in the future. Is there any way you could help him out in this situation? Thanks

I am sorry to say we cannot break up any of our Scion kits to sell just the front or rear mounts. We make all our poly in quantities to sell as a kit - and I just do not have any extras around the shop without breaking up my stock.
