Default Supercharger kit question....

Hi, I got a question about the TRD supercharger kit for the tC....
since it shares the same powertrain from the 02~ Toyota Camry 4cyls,
do you guys think the kit would fit on the 07 Camry 4cyl?

thanks in advance for your input.

why would you even want to do that? just put that 4 grand for the supercharger towards the v6 version.
and even if it did, they would probably not warrenty it.

I'm pretty sure TRD parts purchased through a certified dealer or whatever are all under warranty.
However, I don't see the point in doing that you should just get the V6 version since you haven't even purchased your car yet.

Yeah, just pony up for the extra cylinders.

If you noticed his sig you would have seen

"2007 SE 5MT"

v6 camry's are only Automatic. So he is trying to get more umph with the stick shift.

As the fuel map is for the tC I dont think it will work properly with the camry. The gear ratio's are quite different and not all of the internals are the same between the two engines. But I commend you for thinking of this and wish you luck with your build up!

It really ____es me off that Toyota doesn't offer an enthusiast version (V6 with a manual) of the new Camry. I WOULD buy one if they did. What sucks even more is other companies (Nissan Altima Se V6, Subaru Legacy GT, Honda Acoord Ex 6mt) do offer these cars, but I sell Toyota and Scion. Sorry bout the rant, I love my tC. Just lookin ahead to my next car.
