You said it went out while you were racing the celica.
So, did you CEL come on the freeway, and it ran like crap, and then you raced the celica anyway?
Or did you race the celica, and then this happend on the freeway, and they are 2 totally unrelated instances?

yea thats what it is, i know he said somethin about the solenoid and it being locked up so that's what codes was thrown out. I dont think im gonna trade it in now because putting the turbo back on will be very very easy and i just dont feel like doing more paperwork or the money differnece for the cars cause i cant really spend too much money. on a tight budget but i figure since this happened that was my fault for driving it like that and thats why i have problems now so im guessing things will be good. believe im gettin the auto tranny cooler very quick now just in case haha

About the cel coming on that was within the first few days of the turbo kit i was going to pick up my gf and on the highway thats when the pipe came off and i was driving it real sluggish and thats when the cel first came on. since then the lights been on and when i raced the celica the cel was on but thats when i guess it got pushed to the limit.

if you want your auto to last get the biggest mother____in cooler you can fit and run some top-notch fluid. i highly recommnend redline.. heat is the #1 killer of an auto transmission. keep the heat undercontrol and it should be able to take some abuse. i'm not saying it's going to last forever, but it will be far better than stock

True...but I have a wife and 3 kids under 5 years old.
Just getting a part boxed up and shipped off during normal postal hours is a f*cking hassle, and not worth $40 to me! That's a little over an hour at the office, and I garontee it will take me more then a hour to get it packed and shipped!

Right. and him doing this is not screwing big brother...it's screwing the end user. This is why warantees are so expensive and not honored, because of fraudulent claims.
