Whats a new ECU go for from the dealer? Wow man, I feel sooo bad for you. You should call the shop that installed if for you and see if they will do anything for you.

Hey treadstone, I see you guys sell the manifold seperately for the DIY guys. I'm thinking of picking one up and building up a turbo kit that is exactly what I want. Now I know early on you guys had some fitment issues with the turbo and radiator fan but I think those are all ironed out now right? Well the thing is that I wanted to use a bigger turbo than the turbo you guys are selling with the kits but I'm worried about the fitment. I'm thinking of running either a .57 or a .60 trim T3/T4, do you think it will fit?

What would it cost for me to upgrade to a bigger turbo?

Default Treadstone a No go

Great looking kit. I was about a day away from ordering it but since I just got the kaminari kit I held off. There's no way to make this kit look pretty with the intercooler piping being soo obtrusive.

Don't get me wrong; I LOVE THE KIT. The looks & numbers are there but the kaminari bumper would look like ____ if i had to hack it.

The stock bumper hacked still looks real good. I just dont think the kaminari would. Boo hiss now I have to research another kit

Call up Treadstone and see what they can do for you. I know the offer a smaller intercooler if you want. I'm sure they will want to work something out for you, instead of losing the business all together. Keep me posted.

Its not so much the crash bar I care about. It kinda sucks but really isnt a biggie. Its the fact that their I/C piping and how its routed. With the kaminari bumper you'd have 2 huge holes.

LOL, I completly agree it would look like ___. I'm saying, see if they can accomodate your IC piping needs so no trimming is involved. IMO, they should offer a kit where this isn't necessary for customers like you with after market kits. I want the Kaminari Kit sooooo bad, but wouldn't dare cut it all up.

Thanks. Yeah maybe I'll give them a call and see what they might be able to offer. Otherwise it looks like I'm going to have to splurge for the dezod kit.

Thanks! I just got the kit on last week. I been eyeballin' that sucker for a while.

Anyways, I just dropped him an email through the old website. I tried calling but got the machine.

Its just too bad. I mean this seems to be a great kit however most people with a body kit I'll bet are unwilling to cut up their custom bumpers. Its an unfortunate way to lose a significant customer base.

i was dropping in on this forum as you emailed me, didnt get a call though...? yea i know its a bummer on the piping, the kit was designed like that by my partner who was convinced to run the piping that way by a couple kids that wanted a kit...LOL The only way around it would be to cut the pipes and put a couple 45 degree silicone couplers of the intercooler and sort of run a custom pipe route to hide them below the foglights openings. I know it could be easily done, but some people might not want to start hacking the pipes.
