The ones that are out now for the tC....turbonetics,ZPI,greddy......
All differnt size turbos.. Greddy and ZPI have similar turbos. Id let travis speak for that as he owns a kit.
Greddy = 18G

ZPI = 16G

So similar though, that I don't believe there is a drastic difference to warnt only upgrading from a 16g to an 18g. When the difference between the Big 16g that ZPI uses vs. the 18G GReddy is equipping, we are talking about a ".10" difference in sizes. Not enough of a difference to feel or see changes on the dyno.

I know the 16g that ZPI uses, flows 550 CFM.

Someone else can chime in on the Turbonetics kit's turbo, as I don't know the specs.
this is soooooo untrue, why do you think 90% of talon/eclipse owners (who fix up thier cars) swap out the 16g (stock) for the 18G? cause it has more potential and will put out more power. this is a WEL known fact

^^ Eh, the 14b and t25 are stock turbo's in DSM's, the size of a evoIIIgt and 18g are very close.

simple misspell error, you understood it, right? Then it's okay.

Aeeeheemm....Thank you ZERO. People don't know the power of Google do they.

SAY IT WITH ME NOW.....GOOGLE is your friend.

This is the stock turbo from the Lancer EVO III. Outwardly they look like any other 16G. They use the same compressor housing, TDO-5 exhaust wheel, and the same 7cm volume exhaust housing. Until you pop off the compressor housing... HELLO! Big Wheel. Flows 550 cfm vs. 505 cfm for the regular 16G.
The normal 16-G compressor wheel is 1.83" at the inducer and 2.36" at the exducer. The Big 16-G is 1.89" at the inducer and 2.68" at the exducer. That is just over 5/16" (8mm) larger than the normal 16-G exducer and the same size as the GReddy 18-G (inducer diameter is only .10" smaller than a 18-G).
