I wouldnt recommending drilling the plastic manifold either, if you do make sure you take it off (yikes, sounds like a lot of job just to tap for vac source) and make sure you dont have any plastic stuff inside otherwise it would go to your motor.. then you have to properly seal it, you have to get good seal or o rings to make sure it wont leak..
