Who do you think you are talking to? What are we like 5 years old? You can save that school boy stuff for the playground. I'm a grown ___ man. You got a problem with guys boosting autos then perhaps you should go on a crusade preaching about how worthless it is since you are such an expert and all.

Wait aren't you the dude who took his car to the dealership that jumped in your ride and took it out for some spirited driving and jacked your stuff up?

Guess your not much of an expert after all.

just out of curiosity - any idea when it is supposed to come out or is it going to be some special order deal?

Lol, you have issues. Again reading skills are not your forte. I have a boosted automatic and plan on taking it much further than the 11 psi I have it at now; boosting an automatic is very worth it. I was saying the PTunning kit as it stands right now is not worth it for the automatic. Too much power, slower spool, super high top end, much modification needed to get to fit. When they release an automatic kit it will be pretty nice I am sure, but the kit they have now is useless for an automatic.

And yes, I am the dude who got his car jacked up by a dealership. Crush already fixed it.

So now your an expert on turbo kit design and fabrication. I reckon comprehension is above you. What part of PTuning is "designing" an auto kit do you not understand. No one said they would use the same turbo. Obviously they would route piping and knowing PTuning's reputation, it will be efficient. You act like designing a kit for an Auto is leaps and bounds over designing one for a manual. Stop assuming things cause you know what they say when you make assumptions. Except in this case I'm not the one that's going to look like an ___ right along with you.

FYI....I've seen some built motor Automatic tC's with built trannies as well. So, it's all worth it in the end if you know what your doing with your own car.

Please read before saying something.

I was saying the PTunning kit as it stands right now is not worth it for the automatic..
Also read the part of me having an auto and a turbo. I cut the bracket and fit in a Turbonetics kit. Was pretty simple actually... Also plan on building the motor soon and am in the process of building the trans. I do not plan on swapping since I commute and do not want to sit in traffic with a manual. I never said boosting an auto was not worth it; on the contrary I wish more people would attempt the switch rather than swapping in a manual.

Your comment makes not sense for the simple fact....It doesn't fit an automatic. So, how you can even say "as it stands right now".....There isn't an option for it to "stand right now" on an auto.

Manual makes twice the power the Auto does, so you can understand why people switch. Not many built manual trannies out there because you can already run gobs of power on it stock. Not the same can be done on the Auto, so people switch for the added capability.

That, and our factory trans cooler lines are in the way somewhat. Also the trans is bigger all in all compared to the 5 speed.

anyone care to explain what else would be needed to help the auto transmission to handle 300 whp? like valve body etc., because i picked up a turbo kit from a friend and im only gonna tune it to around 240-250 whp but i would love to get anything else to help me hit 300whp stable on the trans since i am a DD :]

valve body
trans cooler
synthetic trans fluid
torque converter

Should be more than sufficient for 300whp.
300whp with automatic = win

IDK what you have bryan weather its stock or not.
Fiendskillz I have a stock Tq converter if you are interested in that so that you can have it built that way you could change out the stock one for a modified one in minutes.

IPT or Level Ten.

BTW, has anyone with a 07+ auto switched from low viscosity WS to a normal viscosity syn ATF? Any changes in trans performance?
