If you are referring to the gaskets in the greddy kit. They are good quality. I just recently install the greddy kit my 06 auto myself and I can tell you that you won't need to upgrade those gaskets.

i must admit however that i figured out through context clues that slippage is bad... can you explain what exactly slippage is?

and how did you figure out that is the specific number

He's made over 300whp so he knows what boost level causes the tranny to slip. It simply means that the revs are sparatic and the tranny can't keep it all dialed in to get to the ground.

dezod just gives you a smaller wastegate spring (5psi) and a tranny cooler and a different base tune i belive.

the tuning, tranny cooling and limitations on the boost are BIG differences. I am in the middle of getting ready to go turbo, and by learning I have realized there are limits that the 5 speed guys do not have to deal with. you gave brian an answer of "it will need to be modified to fit." I am just saying that there are more roadblocks in the way than just moving around a dipstick.

take the car to a shop to get it tuned, tranny cooling is simple, just stay at 8psi on stock tranny (cooled).

of course there are more roadblocks, but he asked if you could slap on a M/T kit and make it work

dont you need to change the fluid when you install the cooler?!

i think you should try out some synthetic fluid... would help alot with the slippage (lower temps!)

in those 24k miles, have you been doing alot of brake torquing / neutral dropping?

since you are already slipping your tranny, boosting may cause serious problems

i dont think you should have started spraying if you were planning to boost
