I want to get your opinion on tranny company to go with. I am looking at IPT and Level-10. I am going to start boosting my Auto soon but I want to do it right, w/o blowing the motor or tranny. I am shooting for well over 250whp and need some help. I have a local shop that is helping but need to know more for the tranny and management with the auto. TY in advance.

Either IPT or Level 10.
IPT has better prices than Level 10 so they would be the first place I would get them from.

Is there anyway to modify the gear shifter to a slap shift? Because I noticed it seems possible. Does anyone know if this can be done?

you dont want slap shift...if you were going to do that i would just go ahead with a manual swap.

The valve body upgrade made a pretty big difference I think. The car shifted alot better with it

This may have been covered in this specific thread because I remember reading about it... so sorry in advance if it's already been talked about, but what is the difference between the a/t and m/t dezod s1 kits? Is it just the addition of the tranny cooler in the a/t kit?

Going a little off topic here.

I have done a few searches on the TRD supercharger for the auto and is it really that bad? Was thinking TRD s/c but maybe I should go with the Dezod s1? Any inside track info from another a/t tC out there who has tried both.

I have the level10 valve body already done, plus some cheap-o mods like crank pulley and cat backs (silent stuff, no fart-can crap). My car is still slow as molasses. All show no go at this point.

EDIT: oh forgot to say it's an 07

Well with the supercharger being discontinued I would go with the turbo. Turbo will get you more power eaisly any day over the S/C. I would go with the Dezod kit if anything

Supercharger is worthless on an Auto. Nothing much to be said about it.

It's to bad you don't have a manual though. PTuning has the best engineered turbo system for a tC. Its to much for an auto to handle though.
