how/when is your setup set to spray?
I am runing a step colder plugs with copper ends.
I am using 110 or something octane race gas that is at the track
I get no CEL at all
I have no Air/Fuel readings.....
The temp outside is about 90 or so......I dont have any engine temps
The AFC dosent see any knock but who knows how good that thing is
All wires are hooked up right and I am using a ZEX kit so eveything is in the little purple brain
Here is some more info. When the car shuts down the wheel locks up and all the lights in the dash come on and the power turns off. I have no radio or anything. I dont know whats going on and I wish I could figure it out.....

fairladyz541 it sounds like an electrical/ wiring issue if everything shuts down they way you say it does. Do you know where and how power is supplied to the nitrous system and also like Rhythmn asked when is the Nitrous set up to spray( full throttle or push of a button)? I would love to see what is happening to the electrical system after you spray, I wonder if it is drawing to much power from the electrical system and that is why the car shuts down.

The Zex box taps into the TPS wire and only engages at WOT... I'm agreeing with the above guys on electrical... something definately weird is going on there electrically that isn't related to engine performance and such. Especially with the information about the radio/lights and such.
Where did you hook up the power/ground for the Zex Box, those selenoids draw some decent current.

Your SAFC-II draws power directly from the ECU, which doesn't have a ton of available amperage to run those selonoids... Plus... If your SAFC-II loses power, there goes your air intake volume reading at the ECU along with many other things... causing an engine to be very upset.
Your 12v lead to the zex box should be a switched lead from the battery, or at least a high amp source with low power draw from other items... like the 12v cig lead.... change that asap and let us know what happens...
Should fix your probllem.

And spraying all the way through 5th? Why don't you spray in 3rd instead so you can utilize traction better instead of spinning in 2nd?

^ Agreed... N2O is useless for our tCs 1st and 2nd gears...
I suggest running the Zex kit with included tps switch, switching on coming out of second with a MSD digital window switch to prevent spraying at too low RPM or past the rev limiter... it's my setup and what is the safest and definately most effective.

I dont have a winndow switch but I do have the tps I just havent hooked it up yet. And i tried spraying after second gear but I ran my best times when i did spray in second gear. When I say spinning I'm not blowing the tires off or nothing I'm still moving prety good.

So Fairladyz have you had a chance to change your setup around?
