ok so toyota put a new, one of their batteries in and left it over night and claim the battery didn't drain at all so we'll see in a day or so if it really was just a bad couple of batteries though I have my doubts. Also when I got home tonight and shut the car off I could hear a electronic whining type of sound coming from the engine bay. I can't remember hearing this before and I'm not sure what it was. I poked around for a bit, but it was cold out and I was tired since I just got home from work.

That whining noise is either the throttle body sensor or the transmission sensor. It wont shut off by itself. Thats why you to hook up a relay to the fic, because the fic for some reason doesnt up the power to those 2 sensors. This only happends on automatics. Sometimes it turns itself off and sometimes it doesnt. But a relay will fix it, or if you dont want to cut into the harness, just unplug the top harness (22pin) or (smaller harness) going to the fic everytime you shut down.

yeah so far the toyota battery is still starting it surprisingly and i haven't unplugged the fic nor have i done the relay yet... so if it keeps up like this then the optimum yellow top is going back to advanced and i'll get my cash back.
