Default This is when you know ur transmission

is done, when you are driving and you start throwing CEL lights for "Torque Converter Stuck Off". Yeah, my tranny is done. Daily cruising in it is like whiplash when it shifts!!

i recommend a manual. or maybe that new lexus eight-speed tranny?

-shifter assembly and linkages
-clutch slave cylinder and reservior
-clutch lines
-manual ecu
-clutch pedal -brake pedal
-manual starter motor
-manual half-shafts/axles
-clutch
-flywheel

To do the swap what else will I need besides whats listed above.

Wow, someone is finally going to do an auto to manual swap. A lot of people talk about doing it but I don't think anyone's actually gone through with it. You'll be a first!

On the other hand, I won't hold my breath. I'll believe it when I see it.

Document the process! I'm sure there will be lots of interest on how this works out for you.

Try to get the manual tyranny wiring harness, it will save you lots of splicing time.

You can still use you’re a/t gauge and ECU. The A/t Parts on the gauge won’t work and you will get a CEL for none existing a/t parts with the ECU.

Yes. MysTiKchRis was the first that I know who did the Manual tranny swap. Good luck on it though.

The auto gauge cluster works on the manual TC with no problems. He won't need to change it.

Nice" That’s exactly what I did. Didn’t take the ECU because I thought the Key ignition code would be different. =(

You can use an mt ecm. Codes are not stored in the ecm but in the transponder brain. But you do have to know a special trick to get the new ecm and the transponder brain to talk. Also like Munch said. The cluster will work no prob. The auto section will just be backlit but nothing working. You can desolder the leds to get rid of the backlight issue.

I have seen 2 swaps, one in SL and one that I know... so... no first here. :D
