Default ****Asking for every SLer's help****

hello people, im in the process of buying new seats for my 05 tC and i was wondering if anyone in

here has Megan Racing seats...these ones in particular

if there is someone could you please tell me what kind of brackets you used for them?

i'm dealing with hopupracing and they are telling me that Megan doesnt make brackets for the tC.

would the Sparco ones fit?

ALSO.....is there anyone that is running aftermarket seats and has a set up less or equal to $1000? thats seats and brackets...(shipped)
thanks for your help

As long as the sliders you are looking at are universal, you should be ok

Honestly, You can get a nice pair of Corbeau CR1's or A4's with sliders for around 1000 or less, and I personally think they look much better, and carry a more respected name.

Contact Wedge Engineering if they have it. I think they can custom make one for you. Just be ready for the specs (measurements). www.wedgeengineering.net

For a good deal on seats, check out www.racing-seats-usa.com. They have good deals on Corbeaus and Sparcos. Plus, it's free shipping if you buy two.

For example, the Corbeau A4 is $640 a pair excl. sliders, brackets, etc.

Corbeaus are great. I have the a4's and love them. www.fastscions.com has a great deal on them. Think I got them for around $800-900

yeah, generally a rule of thumb is stay away from Megan... their stuff usually turns out to be crap from rusting headers to broken seats it never usually works out. My guess their problem is that they attempt to make everything (exhaust components, interior pieces, suspension componenents...) rather than one type thing well

Wedge engineering is a good website for seat parts I used to have a pair or corbeau cr1's. And I got brackets from them for an awesome price, if I were you though and if I were to do it again I would get either recaros or sparcos I know they are a little expensive but they come with that little tab to make the seat pull up which makes things a lot easier because that was the problem with my corbeaus they were really annoying to have people get in and out of

hey man...yeah i still do...but i was young and naive when i purchased them (ebay seats)....custom brackets FTL!!!!

a lot of people loved them...they had a little extra rock to them but i cant stand them anymore....plus my CR1s, which are coming in on Monday, have the inflatable support for my lower back....sick addition.....

i remember some cool cats from the westchester crew and your one of them...haven't been to any meets either...some work to finance the seats and the custom tails that i have in order....

you guys go to DPA at all?

by the way...what kind of fogs do you have? im interested in the circular ones that go in the vents....i saw a good amount of PIAAs but they dont fit.....i really want to fill up that gap since i got a new bumper....and since you do installs maybe a paying date is in order...as long as i get the fogs i like
