My Tc dash rattles. Some days are worse than others. But, most day's it's bad. When I took it to the dealer they never found it.

If you smack the dash above the speedometer, it stop for a bit or changes location.

It's a 2007, automatic and the ipod radio, if that helps.

Anyone have the instructions for removing the dash? I will go through it and look my self.

I didn't look through it to confirm, but would guess that the service manual should contain the dash removal procedure. Here's a link to download it;

Have you ever taken your dash apart before? Sometimes when you're putting the dash back together after it's been taken apart, a clip may snap off and eng up rattling around. So it could be a broken clip.

Hey, I had almost all my rattles gone. I think the boost controller, vacuum block, click thingy on the throttle, and my xlong cables are rattling now. I just wanna take a bunch of expanding foam and fill every hole I can...

 

Never had a rattle in the car.......then i took it all apart and now everything rattles.......lol......just turn up the stereo and it goes away.....lol

Thank you very much for this. It's very helpful, but there are a few clips retaining the instrument cluster, that are not shown in the removal procedure.

I am going to fill the dash with expanding foam, if I can't quiet this rattle. It's a plastic on plastic buzz of sort.
