Default Alpine CDA-9857 audio settings

So I installed my new Alpine HU this weekend, and I can't find the right mix of audio settings that I'm satisfied with.

Let me just say that I'm no audiophile, and the stock HU on settings: "feel""xA"bass=3", "treble=1" sounded pretty damn good to me. But now, with the added control of the new HU, I can't find a setting that I'm perfectly happy with. To make matters worse, there are separate settings for each source (Tuner, Disc, iPod, etc...).

Anyway, if anyone has this HU or one with the same audio control options, care to share what makes your ears happy? Thanks.

Here's mine:
Bass: +3/5 4 60Hz/80Hz
Treble: +5 4 12kHz
BBE: 1
Sub: 5

I vary the bass depending on if I'm listening to rap music or bands. What do you have for speakers etc? Stock?

Hey, thatnks for the tips.

Yeah, I got the stock speakers. I have no sub, though.

Ha ha. Yeah, I'm finding BBE 2 is my "happy zone". I just gotta tweak the bass and treble settings and I'll be set. Thanks man.
