Default Alternator whine + Fogs

After trying to figure out what that whine was when I'm in AUX mode, I figured it was the alternator whine. Anyways I read up that solution was to change the ground, the only other thing I can figure out that has a ground was either my VRD fogs or CAI (Not really sure, installed it like 2 years ago). I'm pretty sure that I grounded it to the place the manuals told me, can it be something else. It's a little bit noticeable when I use my ipod, but very noticeable when I use my pioneer 500bt. Should I check anything else or just try to reground?
