Which amps I should get for my dual MTX T8500 superwoofers?
Sorry Italiangurl, me and the two audiophiles here have taken your thread!
Trialsindude, what price-effective setup would you suggest for her?
I personally suggest two 10" 11O.v2s from Elemental Designs, and a Nine.1.

From what I hear Elemental Design has good subs and amps. You can get two 12's with an amp for a heck of a lot less then 2k. I think im going to get 2 8's in a few months. I was all set to get them till I made up my mind to get my trans done first.

I will tell you what I've done personally and not what I have heard who is who and who is better and who is so forth.
Personal experience:
10" RF HX sub....it was eh
JL Audio 12W0, good sub for the money, I had it as a home theater sub for over 3 years pushing 340 watts to it. Took it out and put it in my previous car Z32 300ZX, powered it with a blaupunkt at 200watts, sounds very well. After I got tired with that I bumped it up to a 600watt PPI art series amp that thing pound...ok not that hard but good.
Next up was 2 10" Alpine type R subs, powered again by the PPI Art series amp, the both seen 300watts each. It sounded ok, nothing spectacular. I dont like the geometry of a 10" Just doesnt sound right in my book, I got those subs because it was very very cheap at that time.
Ok after that I got a 12" RE SX sub, underpowered it with that PPI amp once again, it sounded good. To good to be true. I sold the PPI amp got a RF T10001BD amp and that sub came to life, it was like, godzilla breathing! That sub is in a 2.5cuft box tuned to 32Hz, I got a legal reading of 139.0db@42Hz on a TL mic. That sub lasted me the past 2 years, I think it has its last straw since the tinsel leads broke, over excursion as I was told. But I fixed it and its still kicking til now. That is my current setup right now. The 12" RE SX powered by a RF T10001BD, 2ohm power at 1100watts.
My next move is to do a 15" FI BL sub in a 3.5cuft box tuned to 30Hz, and power it with the RF amp. Hopefully I will break into the 140+db.
As for you Italiangurl, I suggest you go and hear peoples system. Not go along with nutswingers.

if i go with dual 12" MTX T8500s which is 1000 watts RMS for both of them.. 12" Dual 4 Ohm SuperWoofer ..... which amps will best match for those subs?

I told you before those subs will do 250-500watts RMS. So look for an amp that will put out 1000watts at 1ohm. Since those subs are dual 4ohm, 2 subs all wired in parallel = 1ohm load.
If I was to get an amp next, I would go with this company.

I always vote for the underdog. No chrome, no neons, no leds, no BS, just pure power.

perfect! i dont want those of bling bling and all of that crap.. im not into show cars. just want to have clean cut car for myself. i dont want to expose to the public of my system and make my car a target for them to jack my car
i just bought the mtx TA5601, that thing is sweet. so much power. pushes my one ten very well. check out treo subs. treoonline.com i have the ssi series 10". they are sweet subwoofers, they really like the lower bass. i went from an alpine type-r to this and i'm sure glad i did.
