Default Avic D3 SUB ON & OFF Problem

i just bought two 12 in" Memphis audio mojo subs, wired them down to 1 ohm stable with an 1800 w amp that handles 4-2-1 ohm's. the amps frequencies is tuned and the subs are also tuned from the equalizer, but i also want to tune it from the sub woofer menu. i noticed that you can turn the subs on and off from the avic d3 but the subs dont turn off when you select the off option so whats going on? i unplugged the rcas and checked to see if that option was for the speakers but they're not. also the d3 is bypassed for video play while driving but i dont think that has anything to do with it.

make sure you have your RCA's pluged into the subout.
Also with the radio in "off" mode I belive you can go to your menu and on top it will say "initial" check to see if your radio is set to "rear speakers sub"
if so change it to sub woofer -preout or something like that.

are you useing a factory radio then using a hi/lo level converter? If so then you cant turn the subs off unless there is a function on the controller

if your confused just ask
