rockford fosgate 15"
i just bought a 15" rockford fosgate T215D4 (seen at http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...n_US&p_status=
someone told me theres no way this will fit in my trunk. i beg to differ. can someone tell me if it will or wont? if it will, any idea on the dimensions or setups? links and pics would be great too!
this person is also making me mad because of this reason...i bought the 15" brand new and he says it wont fit so i should give him that for the 12" which is used by over a year!!
either or, any help would be great!
--thanks

Yeah the 15" will fit...:

15" in a ported box 4.0cuft before displacement and port.
I have no trunk or anything....
That is why I am moving onto a a dual 8incher setup if my 15" get bought from me.
I am going to try to get 2 8inchers louder than my 1 15inch....

It'll fit. It looks like you'll have to give up ~3.5CF, which is big, but it will slam! Try to maximize the enclosure's volume without taking up too much trunk space. You can do this by using the spare tire well, and floor of the tC. The sub is 10" deep, so the box will have to be at least that near the speaker. I'm not sure about inverting that sub. It looks like it could be done.

Yeah I took out my spare tire so that box is just sitting on the floor and I don't like it...NOW that is!!! I guess I could have built the box in many weird shape so it can probably sit lower and utilize the small sides that is left but its not worth it. That box as it sits currently is very hard to take it and out, it is I think 40" wide, I have to tilt it in a weird way to pull it out and its so freaken heavy.
I am currently running my 12" RE SX that was reconed with FI softparts, in a 2.0cuft ported box after displacement in my car right now. I am going on a road trip and I need my spare tire just in case.
That Fi sub is the BL model. The Q is more musical, as so I heard from people. The SSD I heard those in person and they are much more musical than my BL. Those SSD can get very very loud too don't get me wrong!
Crazy 8s here I come....

it'll fit just fine. i have 2 15's at 8 inches deep but they don't take nearly that much room.

i am running two 10" deep woofers in the next build but yes they will fit you'll just have to make some sacrifices like loose floor space, loose your spare tire etc... stuff that has already been said
