my rear hatch struts recently blew out for no apparent reason. is this covered by the warranty? i have a 05 tc.

 

if you still have warranty, then yes.

 

dunno if they're covered really..

kinda like a wear and tear item... really depends though..

do you want to trade? i'll trade you my good ones for the blown.. i have CF hatch that doesnt use all the pressure of good struts

well.. also... do note that the struts don't work as well during the colder months... i know i've hit my head on the hatch a few times this winter already forgetting about that fact...
