I see an amp kit in the first pic...but then you are using the factory power wire (maybe 18AWG)....that is NOT smart. That amp is 400W and pulling around 40amps of current. That little power/ground wire in the factory harness shouldn't be pulling that much current through it. Do yourself a favor and run the power/ground wires from that amp kit that you have pictured. Just my .02 cents. But that's a badass upgrade otherwise. I like the OEM look.

I agree. Not a good idea at all. You could possibly burn up something using that oem harness like that. There is too much current draw from the amplifier. I would upgrade the power and ground cables!

the12volt.com is a great site, and I use it all the time. I highly recommend it when doing any car electronics.

Modified Bazooka sub box with a diamond audio 10in sub and diamond audio mono amp installed underneath the stock sub in the foam support. I sealed up all the holes in the oem box using fiberglass to get the sound of a sealed box. I also used 8 gage rockford fosgate wire that is ran to the battery. SOUNDS AWESOME and easy to do!

First I took out the volume **** completely. Then I fiberglassed over the port hole and **** hole. I cut a piece of mdf and shaped it using a jig saw, then I took the material that was over the oem grille and glued it to the mdf. I thought it came out pretty nice looking.

Its real easy! Just pm me if you want to do it yourself. I have done plenty of fiberglassing. Theres just a few steps you need to take to do it right.

Yeah, I tried this setup with a Memphis 10 and it sounded like crap! So I decided to build my own boxes using some 11kv.2s and here is what I got!

a little late to the party but i have a question or two if ya'll don't mind

I know the sub the thread author used has a 6" depth, but how about a 6.5" sub fitting? I also read it has a approx .75 cu space (perfect!)

I have one of these bad boys

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...n_US&p_status=

and I'd like to re-use it in my tc! If it fits I think I know what I want to do with my woofer. Thanks everyone

Resurrecting from the dead! I need everyone's help. I need a list of 10" subs that fit into the Bazooka box without modifications or if with modification list what had to be done. I tried fitting in the currently available JL 10W3 and it didn't fit! It was like a few centimeters too big. This is frustrating and it's hard to find places with different available 10" subs to test fit.

I had a JL Audio 10w3 v2 in there for a while. It fit pretty easily if I remember correctly.
