I'll agree with that. My tc rattles with the stock stereo and speakers, so i'm sure it will rattle with upgrades.

I got the 10" JL Audio 10W7 pushed by the JL 500/1 Slash amp...hits pretty hard and clean. Navigation? I don't understand. Do you mean how easy is it to hook up or what? I got it installed at a shop so i don't know the difficulty level of installation on itl

yea dude, its awesome. I couldn't afford it, not by a long shot, but I saw what my dad had in his benz and I couldn't deal without it...plus, i've lived my whole life on LI and now i'm moving to CT shortly (and been spending a lot of time there now too), so I kept getting lost and I said "I NEED ONE"! lol. I've got an eclipse and its awesome! (works with sw controls and no adapters)

ive never had rattles. btu the only one there with bass was the one from my license plate frame, which i just cushioned from under it with double sided thick tape, and magically, its gone.

actually yea, the dvd quality is real good. The only thing that i still have to get done with it that i've been putting off, is covering the slight gaps on both the right and left side. its not all that noticable, but it does bother me...i'll have to figure something else out

just the license plate. also another issue is the pedastal spoiler. i havnt cranked my stereo up fully yet but when the bass gets going the pedastal spoiler flexs on both sides and its dangerously close to smacking the car. im actually kinda concerned with it because im only half way up in my setup. right now i would say my car is seeing roughly 144dbs (though it has not been tested on a spl meter but it feels the same as my last car which was in that area.

mine rattles a little in the hatch when the subs hit hard, but waht do ya expect with two tens right there in the back, ur askin for it.....

e-dead will work wonders.....like 1 sq. ft under the latch cut out quite a bit of vibrations.....

i have an Alpine Type-R ten in a ported box getting 300watts rms, i don't know exactly what kind of SPL i am hitting but it's pretty loud. i have almost no rattles. no rattles can be heard in the car, but sometimes the license plate and spoiler will rattle a little with certain songs. and i have no deadening material at all and don't plan to add any. actually i have dynamat on my Ingalls stiffy but that doesn't count.

people with the hatch noise try adjusting those rubber blocks. move them up as far as possible. mine was making some noise the other day over certain bumps but that took care of it completely so far.
