Ok this one really needs 6-12 answers so if anyone knows i'd appreciate it.

using both the NiNe.1 AND NiNe.2x amps answer each of the following....

1.) How many watts would i get with 2 13kv.2's
A. With NiNe.1 (D2 or D4?)
B. With NiNe.2x (D2 or D4?)

2.) How many watts would iget with 2 13ov.2's
A. With NiNe.1 (D2 or D4?)
B. With NiNe.2x (D2 or D4?)

3.) How many watts would i get with 2 16ov.2's
A. With NiNe.1 (D2 or D4?)
B. With NiNe.2x (D2 or D4?)


sorry it's a rather long question but if anyone can help me it'd be great. thank you.

 

With dual 2 ohm coils you can wire the sub down to 1ohm and with dual 4 ohm coils you can wire down to 2 ohms. So check and see what those amps put out at 1 and 2 ohms and that should give you your answer.

what is ..."WRms"?

 

That is Watts/RMS. For instance if the sub you want handles 1000 WRms at 1 ohm, then you would want to find an amp that puts out about 1000 WRms at 1 ohm.

why would u get those subs AND not get nine.2x or nine.1

Ed makes their amps for their subs. they don't make their subs for the PG amps

 

They also have package deals at www.edesignaudio.com you might want to check them out. If it is ED gear you want, talk to mandos on this forum and he will be able to help you out.

 

yeah ive also thought about 2 160v.2's and a NINe.1 but not sure how much power that would get me...like 900 i think. those say 1100WRms is the only thing im worried about would one NINe.1 underpower these?

 

lol i'm running 2 16ov.2's and let me say this. Its too loud. i'm around 150 spl.

BTW, all of those set ups would work perfectly fine.

Underpowering is only bad if you crank your gain because it isn't loud enough.

1 or 2 16Ov.2's in a tC is only not loud enough if you're deaf.
