i pushed the coat hanger through, but i cant see it on the other end

 

Did you slip it? Can you still push the coat hanger more? Or is it stuck? You would be able to see the coat hanger if you'll push it more. Try to use a neon-colored coat hanger so that you won't get dizzy looking for it in the engine bay.

Well, it depends on what size of wire you are using. The one that you have has a hole a little to big for the bolt on the battery terminal. Why don't you try if it fits?

I don't really know what size. Just get the one that fits the bolt on the battery terminal with a little thicker ring terminal. You'll know when you see it.

 

Ok, are there any other places to get power other than the battery, im worried about my car catching fire, also, i put the fuse on the positive wire, is that okay?

 

The battery would be your best bet for power source, IDK anywhere else you can get it. Yes, put the fuse inline with the positive terminal.

 

the other power source for 12v is like i said previously, inside the car under the switch plate, pull the cover off and you will see a thick white wire, that is 12v.
