Gauging interest in interior led lighting....
OMG, my strips do not just outperform a 12" cathode, they kick the crap out of them! My wife was cracking up as I did the on / off comparison between the two.
For the photos below. Feel free to copy them and right click, go to summary and then advanced for proof the camera was locked and did not auto adjust. What I did to compare them in a fair manner is lock my camera in manual mode so it did not auto adjust. I made the picture darker on purpose "both the cathode and my lights are mucho brighter in person" but it gives a fair example output wise between the two. The video below is large, 19mb but it shows a straight up comparison with auto adjust on with the camera between the competitions 12" cathode and my small 6" flex led setup!
Here is the video. 12" cathode on.... then the led strip on.... then the cathode on... You can see how crazy bright the led setup is! No transformer to mount. No glass to break and no bs!

This pic is of a cold cathode. Camera locked.

This of of the led strip with the camera locked with the exact same settings as the cathode. Again both these items are brighter than these pics, but with the camera locked it gives an accurate comparison output wise between the two!

Riiiight, whatever dood. Bottomfeeder haha
If people want to pay, I am happy to make a string of 5w luxeons
But I do not think people need that kind of power or want to pay those prices. These are perfect for custom in car installs that will last as long as your car and are the exact brightness people are looking for. + they draw only around .05 of an amp ea. You can almost setup your whole car with these babies and it will still use less current than 1 freakin cold cathode! And no crappy drawbacks that cathodes have!

Hey I need some advise I want to hook up some LED strips to turn on when I turn on the headlights turn on. I have the 12v+ and 12v- ground wires ready where and how can I tap into the power source??? I want to put them close to the center console the wires are pretty long. I heard about a green wire by the shifter but still wouldn't know what to do. any help appreciated.
When do you expect to have the Reds in? I saw where you were talking about getting the resistors in and all, but nothing saying that theyre ready... maybe Im just blind or maybe its 0230? Either way, get back to me... really interested
Hey man
Had to perfect a few items and make sure a few testers approved 100% of the items before I could release. They will be available on the website this next Sunday in ALL colors!!!! I will also make a new post with them for sale. Man they are so wicked bright!
