The OEM pioneer does not have preouts that you need for the amps (what you plug RCA cables into). However, you can use a line out converter that will take the signal from the rear speakers and convert it into a output for amps.

 

If your amp has differential inputs, you don't need nasty converters to integrate with the OEM deck.

 

What receiver did you get exactly?

 

Maybe not. Most newer head units with CD changer controls can be converted to have an AUX input; many now offer their own iPod interface as well. If you can tell us what the make/model of your head unit, we may be able to help you.

I am running aftermarket speakers, mono amp and subs with the factory deck.

 

ehhh.. you can always wire up the aux back up with some knowledge..

however.. it's a fact that our STOCK speakers are much better than most people realize... only changing out the headunit can really improve the sound quality.

one of my friends with fully upgraded speakers all around the car decided to keep his stock headunit...

he goes in my car to listen to my system which i only changed out the headunit..... my car sounds better. :D
he got ____ed.

 

There is also a way to hook up via the CD changer input. This can be used for an aux input
