Default help ERROR 4 on 6disc oem stereo!!

yo my stock oem 6disc is acting crazy!! It tells me error 4 and then i cant use the cd player until i turn the car off and on again....also since this started happening, my subs will not thump anymore, i think it might be ablown fuse, but i checked most of my major fuses and they were all good. Might have missed one though who knows...anyhow if anyone has any input holla! god i miss my thump!

Samething happened here, but sucks for me because I just bought a new amp thinking my old one was blown (hence no thump). But alas I read here (multiple times) that I was wrong.

Oh well... got a kx400.1 out of it with that circuit city plan so I can get a new one whenever I want. And I bought a new h/u from crutchfield so I guess things will turn out good eventually as soon as I install it this weekend.

I've had the same problem with my OEM 6 disc, took it to the dealer, had to duplicate the problem, they replcaed it. 6 months later the replacement stereo gave me and errror 4 again, then it started doing it more and more, same thing took it to the dealer, they ordered replacement, so now I'm on my 3rd one and so far so good. When the second one took a poop, I asked the dealer if they could replace it with the 06 model stereo they told me no, but they said if this will happen to the third one they might have to give me an 06 model stereo.
Also when the second one took a poop, the dealer contacted a specialist at TOYOTA Technical and told him about the problem, to see if there was any known issues that could be fixxed, The Technical guy just said to replace it.
