HID Headlight conversion kit (6k or 8k)
for all you who have HID kits installed give me your opinion on 6k, or 8k, im ready to buy my kit but i am deciding between these two. i am leaning towards the 8k, because its more of a blue, and since my interior leds are blue, and also my licence plate leds..thats why i am thinking of these, but like always i appreciate your postings to help me decide. (07 FM TC).

Get a Retrofit or get some high quality halogens. DO NOT put HIDS in a reflective housing. Its pointless. But i have a feeling you and 99% of the people who say "I want HIDs" wont listen because of that "well other people can get out of my way" mentality....
Sorry to get on you man, but if you throw in HIDs to a reflective housing, hopefully the cops write you a ticket and make you take them out. Do it right, or not at all.

he is refering to your factory housing.
I had HIDs in my factory housing and the visibility didn't improve a single bit. For good visibility, it's really either a high output halogen or 4300k HID. For most guys that want to look cool, get the 10 Billion K kits and maybe it can also do tanning.

Retrofitting requires you to obtain a pair of projector lenses and lens housing, then mounting them onto your housing right now. Lots of people like the Bosch projector housings used in BMW and Audi cars, which can be purchased from the dealers. However, most projectors used in other cars would do, like Hyundai, Subaru, and KIA.

Just a Suggestion, i put 8k HID in my Built Jeep Wrangler when i had it, and to me it was too blue, so once i get HIDs in my TC, im getting 6k. Its better on the eyes and doesnt stand out as much.
