I live in the CA desert and this place burnt the last amp that I hid. With 120 degree ambient temps and the temps in the car, won't they get too hot and shut off? Just a thought that I am wrestling with, please help to shine some light.

The design of the amp mount has 2 openings for fans on the side of it!!
Where is this written or shown?

Joe,

I don't think you can see them in the pics...but both sides of each amp are completely open to allow people to play w/ gains etc.

As for the set up...I = severely angered my back so I can't work on it right now

AWESOME! I just placed my order on the SQ10 and Slim TC Hidden box. What an amazing pre-order price of $55 per sub !!!! I put in a request in my order comment to not ship the box untill the sub is available, hopefully this is possible. Anyways, anybody looking for a quality Stealth Sub setup better get on this ASAP. Ordered mine earlier today. Even got a call not even 2 minutes after placing the order asking how I planned on hooking it up and suggested a different voicecoil. That is what I call GREAT customer service! I haven't even received the product yet and I am already a happy customer. Keep up the great work everybody at Elemental Design!

I got all excited that the SQ10 was done, but it still says pre-production.

Anyway, do I need the S4? Here are my amp specs, I'm going to bridge 2 channels for the sub, use the other two for components:

Bridged 4 ohms : 300W x 1 (Ch-3/4) Per channel into 2 ohms : 150W x 2 (Ch-3/4) Per channel into 4 ohms : 100W x 4

^^^ If your amp can be bridged to 2ohms, get a single 2ohm VC... I think your specs are backwards... sounds like it should be:

75-100x4 @ 4ohm
150x2 @ 4ohm
300x2 @ 2ohm

That would make more sense... What amp model do you have and I'll help you out...

Nah, you just read it wrong

His rear two channels bridge to 300x1 at 4 ohms, 150x2 at 2 ohms and 100x2 at 4 ohms...just mistyped a 1 instead of a 2.

You'd need the single 4.

And yeah, still says pre-production, but since they're listed elsewhere for purchase with shipping around Christmas, we had to get our pricing up. Should be shipping in about 2 weeks or less.

hello yeah i have a quick question. For those people with the ingalls rear strut tower brace in back, will this box still work or will it cause interference? Because i believe that you have to cut into the foam to keep them with the brace?

That brace = makes it a big no no.

I saw a picture of it. The sub mounts right through the brace.

Yeah I thought that would be a problem. Well thanks for verifying that. Apperciate it.

Also I am actually thinking about sound deadening the tc, the same way you did yours. 3 quick questions.

Did it make a hugh difference, especially concerning road noise and rattles?

Did it smell bad at all?

And since it is getting cold in Chicago will I still be able to put this stuff on or do I have to wait till spring/summer?

Also anything that you might add with tips would be awesomely appreciated.

Yes, it's definitely noticable.

No, new stuff is all rubber, no smells, except the adhesive which is kinda almondy.

If it's still 60 over there like it is here, you'd be fine.

If it's colder, find a garage or wait.

It's 62 today.

In Iowa.

After Thanksgiving.

It's just wrong.
