so this box with the SQ10 is better then the stock bazooka sub?

 

Yes, I think so.

 

at the moment we are still waiting on this question to be answered by somebody that has heard both. we'll know soon though. If i had to guess i'd say it is a good bit better than the stock sub....(hopefully is because i plan on buying this setup, so clean looking)

 

oh its way better than the stock..... not even close.

 

um no comparison between the 2. the sq10 is way out of the bazooka's range.

 

ok, i'll most likely be ordering right after Christmas then. Can't wait, will be a nice change in the SQ. Santa will be bringing me new components for the front (polk db 5250's to be exact., should be plenty for anything i ever want, but if not i'll put those in the back and get the ed 6500's), and then the sub after christmas. One of these days i may break down and buy a new HU for even more SQ. I like the stock look though, one reason why i like the SQ10's hidden box.

 

best thing u can do is replace the headunit before you do anything else. for ex.

this is the order i would do.... (and did).

- new headunit
- subs
- components

 

yea, i know, but i just hate to lose the stock look. but yea, changing the HU would be the best way of improving the SQ. in hopes of trying to do this, i'm changing the components and sub first, since they are the least visible peices in the system. Then if i'm happy, good, but if not i will replace the HU

 

I just got back from vacation and my sub is here, but it's a 2 and not a 4. What should I do?

Will the sub rattle at all in the enclosure? I'm wondering since the surface is hard and there is no way to secure it.

 

The bottom of the box is lined w/ V4 to prevent rattling.

 

my box has been "in the woodshop" since 12/11, which was a week ago yesterday. Use of special glue that takes 128 hours to cure? Anybody else's take a whle to be built, or do you think that my box is in the mail and my account status just hasn't been updated?
chris, any insight? i'm order 7327, if that helps. i'm just curious, not complaining. i already have my sq10, and NINe.2.
