lol they're stealthbox isn't a stealthbox. its a fvckin joke. it mounts in the spare tire and forces you to use a false floor to lift everything up 3 inches cause they couldn't actually make it stealth like eD did. o ps, expect it to start at around 400 bucks, still interested? didnt think so.

Yeah, there is a whole thread on it here: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...4833&start=100

And here is a picture of it:

Only, in the picture on the right, it shows the spare tire in upside down. Notice the yellow side is facing up? Strange.

got my sq10 in today. I decided to stick it into the stock bazooka box while i'm waiting on my stealthbox. I have the port plugged, so it helped a little, but it is leaking in the back of the box because the box sucks. I think if it wasn't for that it would sound great. I never pushed it very much because i was afraid i'd hurt something being in such a horrible box. can't wait to get my stealthbox to see how it sounds in it.

^^^ I'd say the box is probably too big for that sub anyway.... I know you're waiting on an enclosure, but maybe throw some pieces of 2x4 wood in there to take up some airspace - it may sound better then..

Yeah, throw some pieces of wood in there. That will really help things.

i'll have to try that. I also have to plug the hole in the back of the box too.

The factory enclosure is ~.7cu ft.... the SQ10 only requires .3 sealed.... anything thrown into the box (preferably attached to something) that will take up airspace is going to help..... It's done all the time with fiberglass boxes that are hard to predetermine the airspace... build it to an estimate then measure with water/sand/gravel/packing peanuts/whatever... if it's under what you need - try to stuff with some polyfill, if it's over what you need - put in a solid material that takes up airspace...

I love people that think they know what they're talking about.... [/sarcasm]

Well, the way you said it, "just throw some wood in the box" doesn't sound smart at all. So I guess on first glance, you sound like one of the "people who know what they are talking about." Hahaha. Yes, you can take airspace away by placing a solid object inside the box. But the way you described it sounded dumb.

the sub's rattling the floor cover lol? haha what can you expect man...not everything can be perfect......i say cut out a hole in the floor cover so the air moves freely without obstruction and itll look sweet with the sub showin through.

Make a false floor like I did, and cut some holes in it. Thats how I solved my rattling floor problem...

Nice job, Golden86! Looks like I'll bust out the dremel and see how it works on the foam. I just ordered my SQ10, box, edi6000v2s, and eDead1SE. Mandos, do you know if the tC boxes are ready to ship? Ship date on the 6000v2s? Danke!

Prices are going up after Feb 1st 2007 for a lot of the product catalog due to materials cost. Warranty will be even better:
"This is also part of our new support package we are going to include with every single product sold.
1. 5 years warranty on against manufacturing defect.
2. lifetime warranty on labor.
3. lifetime tech support on our products.
4. Free paperwork tracking on all orders." ----from icixsound.com.
There's a sticky in the ED 12V forum regarding the changes. Even with the price increase eD products are still a deal considering the quality and support.

Yea, i ordered mine a little over 2 weeks ago. My guess is that they had a huge crapload of boxes to make. I'm sure the box is worth the wait though.
