Dang, I wish you had a tC with the Ingalls rear strut brace so you could fit a box in the same location cause then I'd be all over this. Any luck with creating one for each side of the trunk?

Mandos, do you guys recommend wrapping your box with V4 on the bottom? or does that make the box sit up too high?

With the total wood depth at 5" and not having 1/2" of eDead under it(the "stock" tC here has an excessive amount ) using a single layer of V4 = perfect. We've done it on all the ones shipped. Works great for decoupling the wood from the metal.

I can testify to that; mine works great. Awesome box, now I'm just trying to figure out if I want to remove the cover in the trunk and come up with something to neaten up the whole trunk where I can mount 2 amps and not lose my spare.

For now, I mounted my amp on the spring loaded panel against the back seat, which is ok, but I want something neater where I can take out my cover and pimp it up a little better.

Too small

Would require ripping out the spare...it's something I've been debating...a full on modular trunk conversion from us.

Would probably end up made out of Trupan(lightweight MDF, like 66% the weight).

It’s not a bad idea. I’m pretty sure theirs are people out there that wouldn’t mind not having a spare that wants the extra custom look. like me :D

Mounting depth is what kills the Eu-700
