Hidden Slim 10" box..updated with it's evil twin and am
Do you think the NINe.4 would fit on the driver's side down there? I plan on getting the box when the SQ10 comes out and want to hide everything and keep the spare. Any other recommendations where the NINe.4 would fit if not down there that is out of sight and doesn't take up trunk room?
Damn, that's pimp Chris!
As much as I would REALLY want one of those, I can't live without my spare. Can I make another suggestion as food for thought...
What might be sweet (if it worked) would be a scheme where you:
Get rid of the foam blocks and top cover in trunk
Drop an SQ10 enclosure on the right side
Setup one amp lenghtwise in the spare tire recessed area
Setup one amp on the left side lengthwise where the old foam block was
Raise the SQ10 up and amp placement as needed in the setup so that things look as flush as possible. If you have to taper the edge where the trunk opens and raise up further up, as long as the SQ10 placement looks cool with it, that might work.
You could end up with less vertical storage space in your trunk, but at least you could keep the spare.
How do you think this would look? I was at my desk trying to imagine how it might look. I don't have any graphic design tools on hand, but it sounded ok if an amp would actually fit lengthwise on the left side where that foam block is with the jack in it.
If that doesn't exactly work, I wonder if there is another way to make it look pimp like the spareless option if you raised up the amp housings a little and the SQ10 box.
Thoughts?

The point was to try and use the recessed portion of the trunk as much as possible without losing that spare.
Hmmmmmmm
