Need help to install ps2 into my car.

I don't know which head unit you have. My HU has a separate brain that has A/V inputs.

 

well, i know how to connect wires n stuff but how did u get the power ??

 

AC/DC converter, hopefully hardwired to switch on Accessory or Ignition and hidden somewhere.

 

it doesnt blow my battery thoe ?? screen + ps2 ?

 

No, if your goal is to blow the battery just drop a 1/2" drive ratchet across the + and (-) terminals.

and hardwire it to your cig lighter.

 

Just make sure you're only using the cig lighter as means to switch a relay. Wire the relay to pass the actual power from a more burly source like a major gauge wire on the backside of the fuse block.

The cig lighter alone to power an ac/dc converter would really be stretching the limits of that factory 10amp (15?) fuse for the lighter.
