Hey I have been looking for how to install this system for over a month and yet no one has done a tutorial w/ pics on this exact model (pioneer avic f-900bt). If anyone knows what they are doing and plan to install this product in their scion tc then i would appriciate if you could make a picture w/ text tutorial if thats not too hard. I have seen other installs similar but i need to make sure its the same so if anyone gets the chance i would appriciate any help at all. Thanks

 

I have installed one of these, I did not create a DIY though. (Wish I did). Buy a wiring harness from a stereo shop or best buy. Match the colors from the harness to the radio. Any leftover wires cap off. Pretty easy. Maybe someone has already created a DIY here, but if not I would suggest you go to AVIC411.com. they have alot of guides and faq's specific to the pioneer avic series. Hope this helps.

If you really need pics, I could rip the dash back apart and take pics.

I think that the year changes the wire colors and locations slightly. I have an 09 and that d3 install was the same color wires and locations.

 

I just created the topic on the install, so look for it in the Ice and Interior section.

 

it is the same as the D3 install that is already posted up with pictures on here.........great install details in it and makes the complex very easy.
