Why did you disable the tweeter?

So its a pretty big difference even without an amp? I might need to change my speakers out too, IMHO the stock speakers or amp sucks. With my last few cars the owners were always complaining that the stock radio sucks when I thought it was great, this time i think the tc stock radio sucks.....wonder what they would think about it?

you have to plug the harness in for the new ones to work...so i just found the speaker wire going to the tweets, snipped it and capped it off. it sounds a world of difference in there even without an amp, but an amp will help it out a ton. im going to purchase a four channel just for them and i will let you know how it sounds. but since the 6.5 have tweeters on them it just sounded waaaay to bright having the stock ones in there and they got distorted at higher volumes =]

werd, we got cut off of the haran/ini accom, so thank god i got the order in beforehand. if u ever get a 4 champ 2 push the speaks, u can hook the tweet bak upp to run off the deck, if u run independent speaker leads to the doors, thats what i did n it sounds great

when we had the accom, it was 70% off msrp for ini. mtx is 50% used to be 70% off, and kicker is like 60% with free shipping, and we get wholesale metra electronics products.

hah i represent the 252 bby/
dude install that ____ yourself. it really isnt too hard. i will give you the heads up...even if you have our guys do it your going to have to reset the windows. the installers have a way of looking it up, i had them do it before me and my buddy did it. if you get stuck let me know, and i will tell you what to do. i promise you its not too hard though =]

ok to reset thA windows, push and hold both buttons down for like 10 second, let them go down and keep holding them, then double click them up, it should reset them, ive had to do it hundreds of times.
honestly when i got my car, i knew nothing about it. i put a full system, built it myself, and learned plenty about the set up of my vehicle. if something goes wrong and u f-up, you dont feel as bad as if someone else- fs up... oh ya, all of our installs are free, if we have time to do them. ive built a few systems and installed them on the clock, CC is a chill place to work, fo sho. u work in car audio?
