Interior Breaking Apart
Ever since I swapped to TRD springs, I noticed that some of my interior panels especially on the rear passenger and rear hatch areas keep on popping out from their tabs. I know for a fact that this is due to chassis flex especially when the sunroof is open. Everytime i go up a driveway, I could hear a popping sound which is quite normal as explained by a friend who knows suspensions. The reason why I'm posting this up is that I'm starting to see how cheap the materials that were used in our tCs.
Now, my driver side visor and my cigarette lighter are broke. Can that be replaced and is that covered under warranty?
Also, I just did the oil change for my tC. Is there a way to turn off the 'Maintenance Required' light off?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

If you search for hte maint req light, you'll find how to reset it.
And as for the interior... I've been on Hotchkis springs for at least 15k miles and have zero problems with anything popping out of anywhere or especially anything breaking.
I would hardly attribute your car being lowered to having hte cigarette lighter break on you... visor... ya, I don't know. Same probably.

For the Maint light:

it is complete after the maintenance light turns off, now let go of the reset switch and start the car normally.

im dropped on s-tech's and running hotchkis sways, so my ride is a good deal more harsh than just TRD springs. I haven't had any issues with stuff popping out at all. maybe have the dealer check this, it doesn't sound normal
thanks for the responses. the visor and the cigarette lighter is not really related to chassis flex, i should've specified that. they just literally and easily broke.
yes, it is a $16k car but the panels on a base model civic and even a toyota echo doesn't pop out. i'll have everything checked for sure.
now would the warranty replace the visor and the cigarette lighter? the visor's clip that holds it up to the ceiling broke leaving the visor always dangling down. one of the small parts that hold the cigarette lighter down when you push it down to heat it up broke and after that i don't get any power when i plug in something (i.e. a cellphone charger).

my door handle panel pops off when I pull on the door handle too hard. and my rear "roof" panels have popped out before, but thats because I turned the subs up too loud. but I agree with you, interior is pretty weak even though it may have looked nice when I bought it.
31k 15k or so on the trds, no rattles, no damaged interior, no panels popping out. And I have had my gauges and console out probably 10 times. I would say they probably broke some tabs when removing the rear panels during install. Dont know what is up with the other stuff. I think the interior is fine.
actually I have the samething popping noise as you so. I am riding on Tein Basics and I dropped it all the way down to 5 threads left. I dunno if I did something wrong when I was putting on the coilovers but it would pop when I go up driveways but only the steep ones and it doesn't always pop for some reason only occasionally.
But if I take it to the dealer and get it checked out....would they void my warranty due to the coilovers installed??

......
.....and I thought I was going crazy. My rear panels by the hatch keep falling down tooo. I decided to just leave them out after the 5 time they fell.....I am on S-Techs and I have a 12" MBQuart in the back........Daamn panels
Just went to the dealership and got good news. My driver side sunvisor and cigarette lighter will be replaced under warranty. I'll definitely have them check my C-pillar interior panels and my rear hatch panels on why they keep popping out of their tabs.
thanks for everyone's replies.
