Default LED Swap checklist

Before I rip apart everything, I want to get an idea of the parts I need to purchse before doing an LED swap conversion on the ( found a 10+ Voltage regulator 1.0A, but not the 1.2A version. will the 1.0A work?):
guage cluster
HVAC
steering wheel
standard headunit
both door panels

This is for a 2008 TC M/T. can anyone provide me with these information?

HVAC:
button LED:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

on/off indication LED on the buttons:
location of resistor?

passenger airbag LED:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series if more than 1 LED?

OEM security LED:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series if more than 1 LED?

top 2 temperature control LED:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

LCD blacklight:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

Gauge cluster:
gauge face LED:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

ODO LCD display:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

Blinker LED:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

Cruise control LED(s):
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

warning LEDs:
location of resistor?
number of LEDs in series?

Standard headunit:
going to replace all to white.
location of resistors and their ohm rating?
number of LEDs in series?

driver door panel:
number of LEDs total?
location of resistor(s) and ohm rating?
number of LEDs in series if any?

passenger door panel:
number of LED(s) total?
location of resistor(s) and ohm rating?
number of LEDs in series if any?

Steering wheel control:
number of LEDs total?
location of resistor(s) and ohm rating?
number of LEDs in series if any?

What I want to do is:
gauge cluster: white dials, blue blinkers, blue cruise control, blue ODO.
HVAC: blue to red gradient temp. controller, white buttons, blue on/off, orange OEM security, orange airbag, white LCD display
steering wheel: white
doors: white
head unit: white

Thank you!

did you do any reading?
https://www.scionlife.com/tech/

HVAC:
button LED:
location of resistor? everywhere
number of LEDs in series? most are 3

on/off indication LED on the buttons: uhh.. there's 4 of them total?
location of resistor? various places

passenger airbag LED:
location of resistor? did ya read the tech articles?
number of LEDs in series if more than 1 LED? whatever

OEM security LED:
location of resistor? don't even worry about it
number of LEDs in series if more than 1 LED? just change it out..

top 2 temperature control LED:
location of resistor? right next to them?
number of LEDs in series? why are you asking this anyway?

LCD blacklight:
location of resistor? right next to the first led?
number of LEDs in series? uhmm.. 3

Gauge cluster:
gauge face LED:
location of resistor? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series? dont worry about it

ODO LCD display:
location of resistor? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series? dont worry about it

Blinker LED:
location of resistor? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series? dont worry about it

Cruise control LED(s):
location of resistor? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series? dont worry about it

warning LEDs:
location of resistor? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series? dont worry about it

Standard headunit:
going to replace all to white.
location of resistors and their ohm rating? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series? dont worry about it, but pretty much 3

driver door panel:
number of LEDs total? 3
location of resistor(s) and ohm rating? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series if any? dont worry about it

passenger door panel:
number of LED(s) total? 2
location of resistor(s) and ohm rating? dont worry about it
number of LEDs in series if any? dont worry about it

Steering wheel control:
number of LEDs total? 3
location of resistor(s) and ohm rating? big fat ~2K one by the last led
number of LEDs in series if any? 3

lol this post makes leds swap more complicated.. All you have to worry about is the number of leds and color which can be found in diagrams all over the forum.. Resistors, there is diagram on it and you only need it on HVAC led swap, garage is even selling a complete kit for it.. Just get the leds and HVAC swap kit (resistors needed) and use the diagram.. you should be good to go.. of course a proper soldering iron and solder and solder remover...

Wow, yea....way to make that way more complicated then it needs to be. Doing a complete swap is easy man. You just gave me a headache. Just look at Jeremy's diagrams if you are completely lost.

I been on the FI area only. I just decide to do this led swap to match my boost/pyrometer C2 gauges so thats why I'm asking. Thanks for the info and remember that this it's a big site and not all of us have enought time to just sit and read everything.

hey.. thanks guys. i was just concern about accidentally changing the resistance for an LED that i do not intend on swappin, thus making it too bright and burning it out. because i know everyone on this forum will want to swap their LEDs in their own way, i wanted information so i can figure out what i needed to alter and what i didn't. as for the steering wheel and doors.. i haven't found any wonderful images on them and none that i have seen show the need to replace the resistor, which worries me because i plan on putting in a white or blue LED. knowing if they are in series and if so, how many LEDs would help tremendously. that was the point of this thread. thanks.

i don't want to start another thread to ask this. do the following items below work?

###ohm 1/10watt 0805 resistors

low drop voltage regulator/drivers 10+V 1.5A or
linear voltage regulator 10+V 2.0A or
voltage regulator 10+V 1.0A

to jeremy: i might be ordering some head unit LEDs from you in a few days :-). Thanks for your help.
