I know there are people who have put carputers in Scion tC's, furthermore I know that many of them have used lilliput monitors. I also know that you can't fit the lilliput monitors in a double din slot without taking the LCD out of the lilliput unit and mounting it your own way.

My question is this.... I'm trying to figure out a mounting bracket for the screen. The LCD, when taken out of the lilliput unit measures 6.5" by 4 and 3/16". The useable space in the tC double din space is actually shorter than this. height-wise.

So how do you guys do it??

I have done several lilliput mounts for the tc and this is the best way that worked for me to date. it looks very oem too. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=asc&&start=80

if you are going with a lilliput, you have to do some type of fabrication. either my method, messing with the lilliput housing.and retaining your console cover functions if you mess up get another one for $15.
or mess with your console and probably loose the console cover.
