Default location of temp sensor?

Any one knows where is the location of the temperature sensor the one that shows the out side temp reading on the display in the car? I notice after parking my car for 15 min the reading was 80f. But out side was 53f. After driving the reading drop back down to normal. I'm thinking they place it some where in the hood that's why the heat passes on the sensor.

It's behind the grille, in front of the radiator.

Thanks for the help. Now that explains why it shows really high value. I'm thinking that the heat creeps its way forward when the car is still.
