Didn't Howard Stern do that to some woman over the radio by having her stradle a woofer and turn up the bass. Now that's good radio entertainment!

I've built a lot of sub boxes in my day, and even assembled
some subs from recone kits and motor assemblies...but I've
never taken the time to measure them with a dB meter.

I have one of the Radio Shack digital meters...do you guys
think this will give me an accurate enough of a reading to see
how my two sub boxes compare?

And what weighting do you guys use?

I'd really like to start measuring my work...thus far I've only just dialed in everything
by ear, and had good results...but now that I have the xB, I might actually start
documenting my progress on paper.

Yeah, but over there it turned into a flame war because someone stated that amps don't play under 20Hz....didn't think reposting it would be worth it

Yeah, and speakers must be digital, they produce 20Hz to
20K Hz and come to a dead stop right there. LOL
