The driver side has 2 orange with silver marks. only one will work. the passanger side is a blue with silver marks, just one.

I also ran a ground wire from one side to the other ground wire, that way when one door is open both sides will light up. I hope this helps

i couldnt find a way to get the power directly from the battery cuz i didnt know how/where to run the wire thru the firewall! so i connected the power wire randomly. the grounding works perfect, whenever either door opens, the cathodes light up.. BUT now my regular dome lights wont turn on! loL i think i might have to re-run the power line somewhere else..

man.. i always screw up. haha

there is a plastic cover over where the steering wheel rod enters the engine bay. just remove the plastic cover, just two plastic nuts, should hand loosen. just punch a small hole through the rubber and you can run your wires into the engine. I have both my amp power cable and a small gauge wire that I use to power all my lights going through there. For the dome lights are they set to door and not off. I was thinking if you did that switch on the ground,so they will light up with the doors shut, the dome lights might turn on, because they are grounded, sou you might have to keep them off

i'll try getting rid of the grounding switch, hopefully that will solve my dome light problem.. crap its so weird w/o the dome lights. hahaha

plastic cover over where the steering wheel rod enters teh egine bay.. hmmm, i gotta see where that is at. if you could take a picture it would help me (i'm retarded. haha)

oh btw, i didnt do the other switch where i can manually turn the cathodes off ... i was trying to figure out how to fix the damn domes for the longest time :X

i added the switch for the ground. its weird.. the dome lights dont work at all. reguardless of door open or closed. i cant even manually turn them on. all the dome switches dont work. its so annoying..

so its either 1) have control over the cathodes and being albe to power them up while driving BUT lose the domes or 2) have control of the domes but not able to turn on the cathoes w/o opening the door

yellowxboy, try following what people have been doing to install puddle lights.

I tried it with an extra cathode tube I had laying around. Your lights will turn on when you open a door and then fade out when you close them. You can also add a switch so if you get tired of that you can turn it off.

I have to re-route all cathode tudes and leds so that they will turn on when I open my door. I currently have a cathodes in each door pockets, rear seat pockets and two under each front seat. I have a leds in the front and rear cup holders and air vents.

I setup two other cathode tubes in back hatch to turn on when I open the hatch by connecting them to the little light in the trunk.
