Default Need info about wiring sub and amp

Well i plan on getting the 6500s, with the kenwood dvd unit, and no rear speakers. seems the kenwood unit does do 5.1 so it works out fine with just the front speakers being replaced. I am looking for an amp, to wire to the door speakers and give em juice I was thinking about a rockford fostage 200 amp i can get for 70. think that will cut it? also can i wire up the factory rears to that amp as well or woud it be too much for them.

Cliffs: need amp help with speakers

What's the model of the amp? RF's naming confuses me

Honestly, one speaker(or mid/tweet)/channel. Fronts on a 2 channel amp, rears on the HU...but don't plug them both in one set of amp channels

If that amp does 100x2 @ 4 ohms, yes, should be awesome.

Well there is the RF 200s and the kenwood kac-848. dude wants 70 for the RF and 100-125 for the kenwood unit. which would be a better bet paired up with the 6500s'? thanks alot mandos!

sorry was on my sidekick before so it was a short responce. the spec of the RF 200s are:

# stereo, bridged mono or Tri-Way output
# 100 watts x 2 at 2 ohms

# MOSFET power supply and output devices
# 80 Hz low-pass, 120 Hz high-pass crossover, 12 dB/octave
# 0/6/12 dB selectable bass boost at 45Hz

and the Kenwood KAC-848 are:

Key Features
Amplifier Type Multi Channels

Bridgable Bridgable

RMS Power at 4 Ohms 50 W x 4

RMS Power at 2 Ohms 75 W x 4
Performance
Frequency Response 5 Hz - 50000 Hz

Signal to Noise Ratio 100 dB

THD at Rated RMS Power .08 %
Crossover / Equalizer
Low - Pass Frequency 50 Hz - 200 Hz

High - Pass Frequency 50 Hz - 200 Hz

Well, the RF at 4 ohms stereo is going to be around 70ish watts knowing RF's ability for under rating

The Kenwood should be around 150x2 @ 4 ohms when bridged. I'd go with the Kenwood bridged if those were my 2 options for the 6500s ;)
