Two torx screws on both sides of the steering wheel, remove air bag, and then you will see the screws for the plastic parts. Hardest part is breaking loose the torx screws. I can't remember the size either, sorry

1. Lightly wet sand the pieces you want painted with 1000 grit sandpaper.
2. Tape off the areas you don't want painted.
3. VERY lightly wipe down the pieces with acetone (not too much though).
4. Lightly blow compressed air over the pieces (eliminates dust particles, etc.).
5. Lightly wipe down the pieces with a tack cloth (let the cloth GLIDE over it).
6. Sporadically apply adhesion promoter over the pieces. Wait 15 -20 minutes for this to dry.
7. Sporadically apply primer over the pieces. Wait 15-20 minutes for this to dry.
8. Apply two light mist coats of the base color. Allow it to dry. Followed by 3 wet coats (5-10 minutes flash time between each coat).
9. Once the base coat is dry apply clear coat in the same method as the base color.
10. Allow plenty of time for the clearcoat to dry (you can accelerate the process by letting it bake in the sun).
11. Lightly wet sand with 2000 or 2500 grit to remove any orange peel.
12. Buff to a high gloss finish with rubbing compound (I only use 3M products).
13. Apply a couple of coats of wax to protect the finish.
If you experience any runs then lightly wet sand with 1000 or 1500 grit.
If you don't experience any runs at all, it's not necessary to wet sand after each coat.

With the acetone apply a little to a microfiber towel or a shop towel (blue ones made by Torx, I believe) and lightly wipe down the pieces. This will remove the dirt, grease, Armor All...whatever you may have applied to your interior in the past.
Do make sure that you lightly wipe everything down really well with a tack cloth.
really nice write up. really detail with the info. need advice cant decide either to go flat black or glossy black on mines. any recommendations on this. trying to paint all of it. suggestions plz. i simply want it to blend it for my interior
