Official Interior Dash Thread...
It looks worse in that last picture than it really is for some reason, I can't even tell when I'm looking at it unless i'm like 2 inches from it.
I'm not a pro when it comes to painting neither.
I think it was the clear coat that did it because the black didn't look bad at all when I got done with it.

Just finished it. Took a couple of days since i work 7 days a week. I took my time on prep work which is super crucial. let me know what you guys think
Primed>wet sanded>base coat>wet sanded>several layers of clear.
Still havent used a rubbing compound to bring the shine out. I put it in to have the heat speed up the curing.

Nice job man, what paint brand and clear coat did you go with?
i hope this is a good place to post this, but do any of you know of a good way to "strip" paint that I have already put onto the waterfall and guages? the paint i used was the "engine enamel" and that stuff gunks up sandpaper like theirs no tomorrow. and I was curious if their was an easy way to remove it and not destroy the plastic underneath? any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
