Oh ya, that new AVIC? INSTALLED!
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I just got this unit installed yesterday in my '08 tC, however the door hits the multi-function button and is difficult to open and close. I'm wondering if the unit can sit farther back but the installer was lazy and didn't want to mess with it after realizing the door didn't close without hitting the unit.
What I'd like to know is if those with this same unit in their tC have the same problem and if you have any suggestions.
Also, for the person who mounted their mic in the knockout panels, did you just drill a hole in one of the panels and what did you do to mount it?
Thanks!

Once I get it all sorted out I'll try to post pics if anybody is interested (I'll start a new thread and leave a link here).
Cheers!

Another thing is that the installer told me I wouldn't be able to download my contacts from my iPhone, but I did it yesterday with no problems.
That looks awesome man ! I know someone that has the Pioneer Avic D1 that they are selling for $500.00 I might get it. I see everyone have the D3, so I have to figure out what the difference is.

im new here, but i have a few questions, i installed the F700 in my scion TC 08 and i attemped to do the wire bypass for the ipod /gps feature, and apparently i did it wrong, the system says the the parking wire is like incorrectly connected, i ground the parking break wire and mute wire to the system ground (i moved the mute wire to the 4th slot thing on the harness), no cigar, also, to watch and listen to the ipod to you have to get the ipod connecter from pioneer? i have the 160gb ipod classic FYI
Ok!
