PAC SWI-ALP

Has anyone used one of these with 2006 tC? I am just wanting to know if you have to cut the wires that come from the steering wheel controls.

I have the one for Pioneer (PAC SWI-PS), but it should be the same.
I didn't have to cut the wires from the steering wheel.
