its a roll cage, if its certified its going to hold up fine. the yield strength of that stuff is more than you'll ever experience. they're safe but theres really no need for one

yeah that was what i was wondering..

 

there is no benefit for a DD, you don't drive fast enough or can push your car to the limit (LEGALLY) to need one. Also they get in the way, the bar on the top will crush your head, you need a 4 point harness / racing seats / pads / helmet for it to be safe

I have one I like mine its been welded for track specs.I will post pics.

 

I have racing seats and to crush my I would have to flip over my sparco seats . The seats are about 4 inchs from top of the seat to the celling and the center of the top bar is 7inchs back from the seat.
