Not really a particular dimension that can be given as it depends on the build.

For mine I wanted to keep my spare and mount the amp under plexi in the floor.

I cut a cardboard template for each side of the floor around the spare and transfered to plywood and cut it out and then double side taped that to the floor,we actually tried to pry it up and would not come back up with crow bar so it looks like it worked.

Then figured my final height of the floor and subtracted the thickness of the mdf and made uprights to that thickness.

L bracketed the uprights to the base floor and set precut top floor in place.

Top floor is held by the sub boxes being screwed to it through the top floor and intothe uprights.

Now to get to my spare and jack I have to pull out one sub from box, which sucks....but that was the only way to do it in my case.Lift out the sub box, they are Bassforms boxes that fit in the side, lift up the center panel and get jack and spare out.

I wasnt talking about the dimensions of your build... I was just looking for the dimensions of the hatch in general because I dont have access to my own to take the measurements myself.
