I was not able to find an answer so here it goes. I currently have a 07 tc with the stock HU, I am thinking of replacing it with a premium unit out of a 09 xb. I have read that this unit will work. My question is with the ipod interface. I am currently using a AUX cable but I would like to plug my ipod into the port underneath the arm rest. I know that I need a specific cable for this but will I need a specific cable that runs from the back of the HU to the center console so I can use this plug in? Thanks

yes they both use the same ipod interface cable. I think it is standard on all toyotas and lexus. you can buy it from amazon or ebay for about 30-40. all the other cables are going to be plug and play for the head units.

thanks for the information. My next question is, this plug will connect to a socket under the arm rest, where will I get this plug that goes from the HU to the armrest area?
